Simon accepts briefs in a broad range of matters with a focus on Criminal Law and Commercial Litigation.
Simon completed his law degree in England and was called to the bar of England and Wales in 2006. Simon relocated to Melbourne and was admitted to the Victorian jurisdiction in 2010 thereafter gaining experience as a solicitor.
During his legal career Simon has worked for several well recognised law firms; Herbert Smith Freehills (Australasian Law Awards 2016 – International Firm of the Year), Robinson Gill Lawyers (2016 LIV Awards Finalist & 2016 Australian Law Awards Finalist) and Weightmans (Top 45 Law Firm in the United Kingdom).
Simon practices in Commercial Litigation, Dispute Resolution, Criminal, Commercial and Employment Law and has experience in the Federal, Supreme, County and Magistrates courts as well as the VCAT.
Simon is a member of and contributes to the committees of the Law Institute of Victoria and the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple in London.
Simon is reading with two mentors: Tara Hartnett who specialises in Criminal and Family Law and Tim Sowden who specialises in Commercial Litigation and Crime.
